Bernardo Philippi discovers the  Llanquihue Lago in an expedition in the north Patagonia.

1845

The president Manuel Bulnes dictates the first law of settlement, motivating the European immigration into the Chilean Patagonia.

1856

The president Manuel Montt announces the foundation of Frutillar 

1860

In this year there were 1.570 German colonists between Osorno and Puerto  Montt.

1894

Teacher Jacobo Junginger found the Coro Mixto Liederkranz.

1907

The ferrocarril arrives to Frutillar Alto.

1913

Jacobo Junginger found the German School  

1968

“The musical weeks of Frutillar” starts.

The Colonial German Museum is constructed to honor the labor of the colonists.

The “Cofradía Náutica” opens

It is disputed the Regata “Frutillar Match Race Cup" that congregates the best South American competitors in the area.
